Francis MacNamara

Probably the wiser head in the band (although if you saw him gurning you'd find it hard to believe), unarguably the harder-working. One of his more surprising talents is that Francis is the king of the soundbite.
"Here's one we wrote earlier",
"...because we're a shit band",
"We don't play that because they don't play any of ours". The list goes on and continues to grow.
Ultimately wor Franta knows what he's doing to the violin. And the viola. And any number of wind instruments. And he sings a bit too...

...or as someone else put it...

    "Gangling, lanky front man Francis MacNamara simply amazes with the violin and provides most of the voice. He also pulls out some whistles for a couple of songs."

Can't quite agree with the "provides most of the voice" comment, but you can't expect people to stay for the whole gig, can you now? Everything else is pretty accurate though.
