Raglan Road

The recording and release of Raglan Road coincided bizarrely with St. Patrick's Day 2009. For the first time in Hanging Tree Band studio recording history (is that enough nouns for you?) Opus was eschewed in favour of a more cottage-industry approach. Daffydd's very own "recording studio" was the scene for the recording of the next HTB magnum opus. Due to the reduction of time constraints we were able to take a little more time over this one in an attempt to get everything just right.
The album is comprised of purely Irish or Irish-related material. Little-known fact -the title track is a poem by the great twentieth- century, Irish writer Patrick Kavanagh.
